other the expences created or provided for by this Act,
the surplus of such produce shall from time to
time be paid into his Majesty's Exchequer at such times
as
and
be carried to and made part of the Consolidated Fund.38 G. 3. c. 89 §

be applied to the public service in such manner
as the Lord High Treasurer or Commissioners
of the Treasury shall direct: and in respect to the so far as
granting of such licences the said Commissioners
shall exercise the same authority and discretion
as and in so far as the situation of the House, House Shop, Warehouse, Yard, or
other place of trade or occupation, in respect whereof
any such licence is so to be granted taken out, shall be
comprised within the District composed of the
several places and in to and from which
Letters are at present delivered by the Post called
London Penny Post, according to the Act thereof contained
in the Schedule marked A and hereunto annexed
(which district so composed shall be termed
limits of the Delivery
of the London
Penny Post that
is to say
situate in the City of London or in

Liberties of the City of London
or Westminster, the borough of Southwark
or the Parishes of St Mary le Grand or
St Pancras both in the County of Middlesex (which
composed of the said Liberties and Parishes

the said London Police District) such licences shall
be granted by the said Commissioners;who for that purpose
shall hold their Office
in some convenient
part of the said
District:
and in so
far as the situation of such place of trade or occupation
as aforesaid shall be in any such Country District as aforesaid other part of Great England
Britain not within such District, such licences, (being countersigned
by or by
order of
such the said Commissioners)
shall be granted in like
manner as as hereinafter mentioned and by the same Magistrates as by whom by whom
Justices by whom under the laws in being licences are granted to
Victuallers Alehouse keepers: and if it should shall happen that one
and the same such place of dealing or occupation as
aforesaid shall be included partly within and partly
out of without the said London Police District, or if one and
the same person should shall have two in his or her occupation
