Question I. ) Why a man is not made criminally responsible
for putting off bad Coin which he has innocently received ?
Reasons.
1. Punishment in this case would be groundless. There is,
in truth in fact no clear portion of mischief produced , no clear harm done by such a transaction: there is no all that it
