To render it adequate<lb/>
subsidiary compensation<lb/>
is necessary on<lb/>
the following accounts.<lb/>
1. For loss of the use of<lb/>
the thing during the time<lb/>
it was withheld.<lb/>
2. For natural deterioration.<lb/>
3. For deterioration by use.<lb/>
4. In many cases, ordinary<lb/>
interest of value in<lb/>
money not sufficient –<lb/>
interest to be calculated<lb/>
according to circumstances<lb/>
of wrongee.<lb/>
5. In every case, compensation<lb/>
should suffice<lb/>
to take from wrongdoer<lb/>
the profit of his wrong.<lb/>
6. Full compensation<lb/>
often insufficient on<lb/>
account of evil of 2<hi rend="superscript">d.</hi><lb/>
order.</p>

Responsibility of conformity<lb/>
of decrees to<lb/>
the ends of justice,<lb/>
rests on the character<lb/>
of the judge.</p>
