Observation on §2
The wording of this section is taken with
as little variation as may be from the correspondent
clause in the Statute of the 9 Ann
c. 23 .§26.17 giving similar powers of making Regulars to the
Coach Hackney Coach Officer. The words
passages and words that stand here as
copied from that Act are distinguished
by being underlined: of those such as seem
imperfect, superfluous, or inapplicable, are
distinguished by a red line drawn across
