l.5 Breach of faith - Previous Contract

on the pact of the said Mr White: notice of that contempt
Conveyed in form by me to Mr Long; and no notice was
taken of that notice, by the said Mr Long, in form or
otherwise: - the said measure relative to the previous contract
thereby lost - and thereby the reason - that is one
twelvemonth, lost along with it. -

After this explanatory introduction, the correspondence
itself will (I hope) render itself sufficiently intelligible,
at least with the help of here and there an incidental note.
