C Of Child-Stealing and Kidnapping of Children.

restored by being presented and his condition made known,
before any Judge whom he shall choose.

[(B) Restored] Any act done in the sincere intention of restoring
the Child shall be deemed equivalent to actual
Restitution; if actual Restitution be afterwards prevented or
delayed without any default of the Offender. As if the
Offender through fear of justice deliver over the charge
to another person, and such trustee is apprehended by
course of Law, or dies, or falls sick, or unexpectedly betrays
