Olga Nunez Miret
Penistone,
Barcelona, Spain
Psychiatrist. I work in Sheffield for the NHS.
I was born in Barcelona, Spain but I have now lived in the UK for nearly 20 years. I've lived in a variety of places here (Eastbourne, Brighton, Manchester...) Currently I live in Penistone, South Yorkshire.
I studied in Barcelona. I went to Medical School there. I attended Sussex University in UK and completed BA in American Literature and DPhil on same subject. I have also recently done a Distance Learning Masters on Criminology (Leicester University).
I like reading and writing, and enjoy theatre, films...I also like keeping fit and go to the gym regularly (I particularly like attending classes. Combat is probably my favourite, although I try others like attack, step...). More recently I've started attending yoga.
Dear Olga,
I hope you don’t mind my sending you a brief message. My name is Tim Causer, and I’m the editor of the texts comprising Bentham’s ‘Writings on Australia’, which are due to be published online in pre-publication form very soon. In due course they will be published in final form, as part of ‘The Collected Works of Jeremy Bentham’, by Oxford University Press.
Your contribution to Transcribe Bentham has been used in the preparation of these texts, and we would like to publicly thank and acknowledge your efforts in the preface. I was wondering if you are happy to be acknowledged, and if so, how you would like to be referred to in the preface. Needless to say, if you would prefer not to be acknowledged then that is perfectly okay!
Do let me know if you have any further questions, either here or at t.causer@ucl.ac.uk.
With very best wishes, and my sincere thanks for your contribution,
Tim
