Who shall be empowered to exercise such his or her occupation
shall be situate in the within the limits of a District to be
termed the London Police District and hereinafter
described and limited [+] or elsewhere in Great Britain
that part of Great Britain called England [+]
and shall moreover during the same of time comprised

conspicuous characters, each of them, over the
principal door or doors, of such his or her place

distinctive number, or hereinafter particularly
specified given by the persons hereinafter that is to say and shall
