to be licenced.

Who shall be empowered to exercise such his or her occupation
shall be situate in the within the limits of a District to be
termed the London Police District and hereinafter
described and limited [+] or elsewhere in Great Britain
[+] (including the dominion of Wales and the town of Berwick-upon-Tweed
that part of Great Britain called England [+]
[+] or in any other of the Districts in to which that part of Great Britain called England shall for this purpose be divided in manner hereinafter mentioned, and which shall respectively be distinguished by [+] as shall have been common appellation of Country Police Districts
and shall moreover during the same space of time comprised
time in which <add> respective licences respectively</add> keep constantly exhibited in durable and
conspicuous characters, each of them, over the
principal door or doors, of such his or her place
of trade or occupation, in manner hereinafter as also, in the divers<add>several certain
cases instances hereinafter <add> in that behalf specified, in some conspicuous
part of the cloathing worn, or of the carriage or
carriages, boat or boats, or employ'd;
in the exercise of such occupations respectively,
inscriptions entertaining expressive of the
name of such person at length, the occupation
which by such licence such person shall be
empowered to exercise, and in certain cases a
