It's good to hear from you, Diane. I've been away from the computer, vacationing for a while, so no submissions. The advantages of retirement! Speaking of work, good job on passing the training course. It sounds like a tough one.

 I've signed up as a "friend" on Facebook, but I'm not sure whether I'll ever be able to get beyond that.  I think I'm over the age limit for understanding the current software (my son got me started on Facebook, couldn't have done it alone).  At least I do email & Bentham--delighted there's something I CAN do.

I did a little English teaching some years ago: not language itself, but very basic reading comprehension and writing skills, among mostly Hispanic students. It was a case of swimming against the tide.
