[28] Might it not be advisable to add — Add <add>Insert here, or on the paper No 21 —</add> "To make up the
"value of the Note for any odd day, i:e: any day which is not in the Table,
"add a farthing for every every such day between such odd
"day, and the day next before it in the Table": — or else
leave the explanation to the script-maker paper mentioned
in Note No 21.

[29] Add Insert here or on the paper No 21 — "When the Blanks in this Register are
"all filled up, this Note, if not paid off, will be exchanged
"for a fresh one greater." — Obliteration is the only profitable
front of which these entries are susceptible: and that
might easily be rendered impracticable. impossible. — The number
of years here inserted, is that, at the end of which the value of the Note
will have doubled itself at simple interest.
