§. 6 Evidence: by whom received receivable or extracted

Art. 1. Spontaneously delivered, evidence is receivable may be
received fr by any person though not but for a judicial purpose
not: intractable for a judicial purpose it can neither
be extracted nor received by any person but a Judge,
or some person acting in this behalf by under authority from of
a Judge: unless except on some special occasion by special
appointment authority from the Legislature: in which case to this
purpose the person character in which he so authorized is a Judge. See Ch. III
Examination, §. Ch. XI. Second hearing

Art. 2. Received or extracted by the Judge in person
it may be received from him either at in the Judgment seat
or elsewhere within his jurisdiction namely at an Outdoor
sitting as per Ch. II.

Art. 3. Evidence if not possibly adducible must can not,
evidence not conveniently adducible can not ought not to be received
or extracted by the Judge in person without his repairing
to the spot where it is situated: if in any other way received or extracted
by the Judge, it must be through the medium of the testimony
of some other person by whom the spot has been visited.

Art. 4. In the ready-written form, written evidence may be
from a person may be delivered to and received or by command extracted from any person by the
Judge
from a party or any other person by the Judge, and
in this form extracted without otherwise than by interrogation. But
unless the he whose testimony it contains is interrogated or
liable to be interrogated by the Judge, its trustworthiness will
this circumstance be much diminished.
