Ch.
Of Execution.
Art. 1. Execution is performed either
1. By effectuation given to right, or
2. By appropriate remedy applied to wrong.
Art. 2. Of execution in the case of wrong, the appropriate
mode depends upon the nature of the remedy
and thence and in so far upon the nature of the
wrong.
Art. 3. Remedy preventive, the wrong may be,
the in case of an offence in any shape, the purely
inchoate offence, consisting in a mere preparation
or attempt, consummation not being as
yet commenced. nor evil in any shape other
than what mischief of the first or second orders
meaning from the preparation or attempt, has been
produced. Of this remedy, the particular shape will depend
upon the nature of the individual offence in each
case: examples are as follows –

Art. 4. Remedy suppressive. The shape to be given to the
execution will depend upon the character of the offence
which, in this case, is continuous.
