From the minute taken by him of the his extrajudicial
examination of the supposed percipient witness, the Attorney
unless he prefers trusting to his unassisted notary, draws
up the Advocate's Brief: what is called the Brief for
the information of the Advocate adding to it such observations
as suggest themselves as the circumstances of
the case have suggested. Brief In its original import
brief means that: but the man of law big in both
his natures paid according to the length of it, it may
be imagined whether scantiness shortness carried to excess is likely to be
of the number of its attributes. In and from composition this discourse the
case the case receives of course from the hand of the manufacturer
not only the bulk but the colour which in his
eyes are best adapted to his own particular purposes,

or thousands.
