Sole proper course before
a single Judge as the Petty
Sessions with a few amendments
viz:

The enaction of procedure that least distant cases be the of fitness
is that before Judges acting singly or in Petty Sessions for to render it
perfect no more than a few amendments are would be necessary. These are

1. The assurance that of an auditor on every occasion pursuer
on every occasion of an auditry among whom the Judge could
never be certain that there would not be persons one or more disposed

to the prejudice of any party on either side, information of it would
be carried before an Appellate Judge, by whom at whose hand at an inconsiderable
or no expence and without any factitious delay it would be dealt
with in the according to the direction of the law
