'TABULATION. Attributives Simple X Qualifi'd 2
-lar things, only only; viz: "of Quantities & Qualities
& of motions & their privation"
"Inclusive" again of some particular things only
viz: of an Assertion together with the Attribute.
[In the 2d Branch] "Not inclusive" again "of
some particular thing" viz: of an assertion
So in the 1st Prolis of the 2d Branch,
those which are the attribute "signification"
predicated of the now-subject Not-inclusive-of-an-assertion
is not simple; for which if it was
the division would then stop & there would be
no qualification but qualified: qualified
by being restrained to Quantities & Qualities
only in the 1st Prolis: qualified by being
restrained to Quantities & Qualities Motions & their privation only in
the second.
And here we may observe as a Corollary, that one
Attributive by means of different qualifications
may composed as many different branches, & in so doing
have the part of several attributions.
