Exposition
[(A) Office] For the different sorts of offices see refer to the Constitutional

If the offender be not in office but is not in office, but only believes himself to
be in office, not, it is Extortion at large: if not as much as his not even that, it is Defraudment
[(B) Concerned] See Tit [Co-offenders]
[(C) Money's worth] Or Profit. See Tit. [Theft] voce [Value] This
when taken by a person in office by in virtue of
by colour of his office a right given or pretended
to be given to him by his office is called a Fee.
It matters not in what manner the profit is made to accrue
to the extortioner: whether in a direct manner, as by the receipt of so
much money; or by in any of those indirect ways in which a profit can be made to accrue to one man at the expence of another: for which see Tit. [Peculation] verbo [Profit]

[(E) Injury] v. supra art: .... eadem voce. As if a Constable
having authority only to apprehend the person
or seize the goods of another man, gives you to
understand that unless you give him such or
such a fee he will likewise apprehend your person, or
seize your goods for the same cause.
