Definition Of Forgery.

[(CC) Extract] An Extract an Extract is a partial Copy; a Copy of a part of
that discourse of which it is an Extract.
[(DD) Translation] A Translation. A Translation is any document which
purports to contain characters significative as nearly as
may be of the same meaning, but of different sounds, of
such sounds to wit as constitute that meaning in another
Language.
[(EE) Paraphrase] A Paraphrase. A Paraphrase is any document which
purports to contain characters significative of a meaning
more or less approaching to that of some original.
[(FF) Abridgement] An Abridgement. An Abridgement is any document
which purports to contain a meaning more or less approaching to that of the whole or a part of some original:
and that in either a part of the same characters or in characters
fewer in number than those contained in the
correspondent part of the Original.
