Punishment With regard to Punishment, the offence if on
the part of the man might be punished with the
forfeiture of such or such marital rights, if on
the part of the woman, for adding in such or such a way, to the burthen of
her dependance; and in either case where the nature of the connection
admitts of it, by a fine imposed on the offender
to the profit of the party injured
