Of Child-stealing on Kidnapping Children
Child-Stealing defined. Kidnapping of a Child Child-stealing is where without lawful
cause (A) a man is concerned (B) in conveying a Child under [ ]
years of age against the will of either his parents (C) or other of any guardians (D) of his out of their reach (E) or knowlege; knowing himself
to have no right so to do and intending not to be amenable (F)
to Laws.

[(B) Concerned] See Tit. [Of Associates in Delinquency. Co-offenders.
[(C) Parents] If it be not against the consent or if it be not out of the
by the procurement of one parent, so it be known to be
against the will of the other, and without his knowlege
each or knowlege of both Parents it is not kidnapping. Child-stealing

[(D) Guardians] To Where there be are more guardians than one,
it may be child-stealing although if it be without
if it be not against the consent, or not out of the reach on
the knowledge or without the reach of either, any one Guardian although
knowlege of any one guardian it is not kidnapping.
