implements of mechanical exercises &c.
9. Inconveniences from the obligation of wearing shackles

10. Obligation of mixing with a the promiscuous assemblage
of one's fellow-prisoners, or other disagreable
companions.
11. Obligation to submit to labour; whether of mind
or body, or both.

Such as are more apt to be the result of neglect
than intention seem principally to be as follows;
1. Pains of hunger and thirst; habitual debility — Death.
2. Sensation of excessive Cold
in various degress of intensity:
Falling off the extremities by the stoppage
of circulation, Death.
3. Sensation of excessive heat - habitual debility;
Death.
4. Sensation of damp and wet; Fevers and other
diseases — Death.
5. Accumulation of noisome
smells from the body;
