Of Kidnapping Confinement

It shall be deemed an endeavour to
keep the place of confinement secret, if
the party upon demand be not as soon as may be furnished
with implements for writing to his friends.

Or if upon writing his letters or other tokens
be not sent

If deliver'd by him for the purpose of
being sent they shall be presumed prima facie not to have
been and if not received in due time received.

Or if any unnecessary delay be used.

Or if upon his being unable to write or
otherwise, he be not upon demand forthwith
presented to the Constable of the place wherever
such demand is made
