Instructions to the Judge
[(B) All events If To wit, if the proof of the offender's guilt be altogether clear: and if another punishment
of rendering the knave's account ought to
be inflicted at all events, except unless where the his poverty

appear beyond suspicion, the Judge may restore

Instructions to the Judge
If the things in the condition in which they are
produced appear to be of such a nature, that there
may be danger of their being abused again a second
time to the like bad purpose, either with or without
blame on the part of of the possessor, let them
not be restored numerically: at least not till they
have been compleatly put out of condition to be so
abused. If In such case, Otherwise let the restitution if any, be
