Frauds relative to the Coin.
according to the Rules by that authority prescribed.
[(F) Confederacy] Proofs of Confederacy with Coiners. In the following cases a man shall be
deemed to be concerned with those who are: viz: 1. If for the sake of
gain he be knowingly concerned in exporting or contracting
to export out of the dominions of the State any diminished
or counterfeited Coin knowing it so to be.
2. If for the sake of gain he be knowingly concerned
in importing or in contracting to import into the dominions
of the State any diminished or counterfeited Coin knowing
it so to be so.
3. If with a view to gain he have in his possession any
quantity of diminished or counterfeit Coin knowing it
to be so and not having received it from some person
who had innocently received it as undiminished and
genuine.
Uttering base Coin without confederacy with the Coiners punishable as a Simple mercantile Fraud. If any person utters any altered or counterfeit Coin
knowing it so to be and with a view to gain but without being
