him who tendered it fold it up in a bit of paper and put
his seal upon it; and if without the default of the refuser
the seal be broke before it has been opened under the
direction of the Judge, the party who tendered it shall lose
his remedy.

Judge appointed for the Occasion. If the Judge should be out of the way or if no Judge
should live within Three Miles of the spot where the dispute
arises, the party complaining may resort to the minister (a) of
the Parish who may act in this behalf as Judge.

His order how to be executed. Where the person who made the order is not the regular
Judge, if the party in whose disfavour it is made
be refractory, it may be carried into execution against him
by the regular Judge, who upon production of the order, shall be
