2. Punishment Forgery —

[(B) Unlawful Confinement] As if a man having forged a Letter
from your father, brother, or other nearest relation to the
keeper of a Mad-house declaring you to be mad and requesting
him to take you under his care, were to give it you sealed,
and on some other pretence request You to take it to the
said Keeper.


[(B) Ordinary Punishment] To wit according as to the lengngth which the offence happens
to have proceeded: according as not to whether it was been consummated or whether it to have terminated in the
attempt.

Abuse of Justice. Where the intent was to make use of the Order or Act of a
Judge or Minister of Justice as a means of subjecting the party
to the Injury. See Offences against Justice.
