Of Rebellion
Active Rebellion in the first degrees degree is
where:
It is active Rebellion
1. If a man intentionally puts the Sovereign to
death
2. If a man attempts to put the Sovereign to death
3. If a man conspires to put the Sovereign to death
4. If a man levies war against the Sovereign
54. If a man conspires to dispose levy war against the
person of the Sovereign
5. If a man conspires to oblige the Sovereign by force to
give up surrender in form any part of his authority.
6. If a man attacks any of the forces kept in
foot by the sovereign in intention of [taking putting
it out of his powers to defend away from him the power of defending] himself.
7. If a man conspires to attack any of the forces
kept on foot by the sovereign, in the intention of
putting it, out of his taking from him the power of defending himself.
8. If a man puts to death or attempts or conspires
to put to death the wife or any of the family of the children or other
descendants of the Sovereign
9. Or any other person, not more remotely related
to the sovereign that [10th] (1) (1) To p. 1. of the Notes in succession.
10. Or any of the great officers of state whose
