Degrees in which it may manifest itself

This may respect
1. The act itself considered in its commencement.
2. The act itself considered in its termination.
3. The immediate consequences of the act.
4. The remote consequences of the act.

Thus, suppose for instance that by a blow you
given for instance with an iron bar which you hold
were holding in your hand, you have broke
a persons the leg of a porter in such manner
that it is obliged to be cut off whereby he is
rendered incapable of getting his lively hood. The
case may be either

Act unintentional in its commencement
1. That you did not so much as intend to move
your hand: for that you were made to do so
by a violent shove given you by another
person. In such case the act was unintentional
in its commencement.

- in its termination
2. That you did not intended to strike not
the man's leg nor any part of him but
some other object: for instance the ground & In
this case the act was unintentional in it's termination

- in it's immediate mischievious consequences
3. That you did not intended not to break his
leg but either only to give him rather touch
for as to warn the purpose of warning him to stand out of the way
or at most only to put him to a slight degree
of pain. In such case the act was unintentional
with respect to it's immediate consequences.

- in it's remote mischieviousness consequences
4. That you meant to break his leg: but not in such manner
as that he should be obliged to have it cut
off: or that the his losing his livelyhood was a
consequence that did not occur to you. In either of
these cases, the act was unintentional with relation
to these its full remote consequences respectively.
