ADULTERY Advantages of.
The infidelity apprehension of of in the wife may be regarded
as a preservative preventive of nature's providing against
the neglect or cruelty on the part of the
husband : in like manner as that of being obliged
to expose one's life in a duel is against
intemperate behaviour and ill-manners between
men. A man who had no value for the affection of a woman, would be mortified at her taking a step of this sort from a regard to his own honor.
I believe the condition of the
