been rejected in one session, had been seconded by the Attorney General
in the next. He had the highest respect for the Lord Chancellor, but
if that learned person added all the decision of Lord Hardwicke to his
great legal knowledge, he would not get through all the labour now
thrown upon him. He concluded by submitting his motion.
