K. Fake Report
After all – what is this whose and deed
is this? Mr Long's? – He durst not sign it –
Mr Rose's? – He durst not sign it. – Is it
a Minute of the Board? – They durst not say
so. Of the papers that have be at different
times have been printed by Order and for the use of the House
of Commons under the title of Further
Proceedings (or Further Proceedings) of the Lords
Commissioners of his Majesty's Treasury &c
respecting the matter stated in The Reports of
the Committee of Finance &c &c there are
according to found to be stated to have been persecuted appears in putting together the not altogether
consistent lists of them that are as given in to
be collected from their respective title pages
to be near in all of the respective
dates as follows
12 Jany 1798
19 Feby 1798
17 June 1799
4 October 1799
15 July 1800
16 Feby 1801
12 June 1801
All these I have in point before me, except
the two marked with an asterisk – viz that of 27 Jany 1800 and that of 17 July 1800. As the collection
I have was sent me for compleat my what
I conclude inference from the absence of those two is that
though among the number of those presented, they were not among the
number of those that were Ordered to be presented.
