5. As a By way of check to the abovementioned Returns from the Justices
and the Jailors, as aforesaid, to be
will and to supply afford a supply as well as continually to indicate, and by that means prevent, more or
less adequate to the casual deficiencies that in the list of such
Returns another set of periodical Returns to be made to each the Police-Surveyor of each <add> Surveying District or Sub District </add> by the Constable
or other such Peace-Officer of each Parish or Parish-like Place into comprised
within his District not as such
mischief periods within the Year as the Board shall from time to time appoint; each Return to
