And be it further enacted that if in
any such Division or Country Police District as aforesaid
it should happen that within the time
herein above limited
no meeting such meeting as aforesaid shall have
been holden for the granting of licences under and
by virtue of this Act, or the proceedings of any
such no meeting or meetings the proceedings whereof
shall have been effectual for the purpose

And be it further enacted that if
any person

Provided nevertheless always that in the several Licencing Towns or
Places Divisions or County Police Districts in which
his Majesty's Dock Yards at Sheerness, Chatham,
Portsmouth and Plymouth are respectively situated,
and in the several sets of Parishes of which, in
the whole or in any part respectively thereof respectively,
are situated within the distance of five
miles or thereabouts from each respective Yard ( Lists of which
several sets of Parishes lists are contained in
the Schedule marked [ ] and hereunto annexed)
the same rates of duty shall be paid
as in the said London Police District.
