shall, on his resignation or misbehaviour or
otherwise, have been removed by said Board:
Provided always that it shall and may be lawful
to and for every such Justice or Officer as Commissioner or Police Magistrate
aforesaid to suspend by order in writing to
suspend any and or every such Collector acting in and for within
such his District or Division as aforesaid for
one week from the date thereof and so from week
to week untill the and to appoint to act during such
interval of suspension any other fit person
in the stead of such suspended person, and so totius quotius untill
the directions of the said Board respecting the
reinstatement or dismission of such suspended
person shall have been received: Provided also
that in case of any negligence or other mis-
behaviour conduct on the part of any such Surveyor or
any other person whom the said Board Commissioners are or
shall be empowered to dismiss it shall be lawful
to and for such Commissioners on the petition
of such offender person so misconducting himself to impose upon and receive
or cause to be received from him any such fine or forfeiture applicable to the
which (the amount of which shall in such case
be carried to the Police Fund) as such offender
person shall by such his petition submitt to pay.
