Notice to be given by
a Candidate for a licence
- Power for examining
into his fitness.

§ (3) 15. Provided always and be it further enacted
that every person intending to apply for any
licence at such first licensing time as aforesaid
shall previously
thereto give timely
notice of such intention
giving an
account of him or
herself as also
of his or her intended Surety
or Sureties
as aforementioned
and including in such
notice therein the name
or names and abode
or abodes of the person
or persons whom he or
she intends to tender
as his or her Surety or Sureties
in the recognizance
so below mentioned and
as aforesaid which
notice shall
moreover be

shall previously thereto give notice of such his or
for any place situated within the London
Police District his or her residence being there
also situated within the same shall give
or cause to be given to the said Commissioners
or to the Surveyor or other Officers by them in
that behalf appointed [ 20 ] days notice at
her intention to such Commissioners and Justices respectively
within the of his or her the place <add>if the place where in respect of which such licence
is applied for be within the said London Police District or if
not within the same, then to such Justices as aforesaid, as also
to such Surveyors
as aforesaid: which
or other Local Officers

as shall be or have
bebeen appointed in that
behalf by the said
Commissioners

expressed framed each person as shall
be appointed found by the said Commissioners according
to the Instructions contained in Schedule
[ ] to this Act annexed, with such further
or other particulars reasonable if any as, from time the
said Commissioners shall think fit to require

appoint and require in that behalf: and shall
