Police Bill III Licensing

be lawful to the said Commissioners to grant
or refuse licenses to all persons with making
applicative for the same
transact the business
of granting or refusing licenses in and for every such
Country Police District in the same manner
as near as may be as the said business ought
to have been transacted as such of
Justices as aforesaid, for which purpose applications
on the part of persons desirous of
testing out such licenses shall be made to
the Surveyor of each respective district or to
such other person and in such other manner
as the said Commissioners may think fit to
appoint.
