imposed: And if any such licenced Dealer Purchaser after
having received any such Blank Account Book
or Register from and by authority of the said Commissioners with directions to make entries under
the heads therein contained shall ca in transacting
any business in respect the course of which such his or her licenced occupation
wi neglect or wilfully omitt to make
or cause to be made any entry which according to such was directions
ought to be made therein he or she shall forfeit
and pay the any <add>sum amount not exceeding <add>less than [ £ 2 ] nor <add>more less than
not more than [ 5 ]: and if any such Dealer Purchaser

as aforesaid shall knowingly and purposely make
or cause to be made any false entry
to any such head or heads he or she shall forfeit
and pay <add>to any amount not exceeding less than nor less <add> more than
not more than [ ] and &
moreover be adjudged to have forfeited his or her Licence
or Licences: and every such Book so kept
and it shall be lawful to and for any Justice of the
Peace for the County, Town, Liberty or Place in which
Peace within his jurisdiction, by Warrant or Order to
such licenced directed to such licenced person or <add>Purchaser or to any other person
the place of trade or occupation or persons to cause every such Book
so kept to be brought before him so often as, and to
detain the same for such time as, the same there shall
be need thereof, in order to the end that the same may be produced
in evidence: and if any such licenced Pu person
by whom any such Book shall have been kept, or any
other person whatsoever shall have been concerned in
knowingly and purposely making any false and wrong deceitful entry therein
or any deceitful addition, erasure or alteration, or in secretly
suppressing <add>destroying , concealing or defacing or supprssing the same or any part thereof
every such person so offending shall on conviction
forfeit and pay any sum not less than [ £ 2 ] nor
more than [ £ 20 ]: and every such licenced Purchaser so
offending may moreover be adjudged to have forfeited
his or her licence or licences.
