No person who under and by virtue of this Act
is lic required to take out a licence under the name
of Dealer in second-hand Naval Stores, Dealer in
Paper-makers materials, Dealer in second hand Apparel,
Piece-Goods and Remnants, Itinerant Dealer in Second-
hand Apparel, Piece-Goods & Remnants, Dealer in Old Metals
or M Metal Founder Horse Dealer, Cattle Purchaser of Old Metals for to
work them up for sale, Horse Dealer Cattle Skinner and Boiler or Salesman of
Pawned Goods respectively, shall purchase any article whatsoever
from any child under the age of fourteen years,
on pain of forfeiting for the first offense and not more less than every offense
prior to a past conviction not less than 40s nor
more than £5 and for every offense subsequent
to conviction not less than £5 nor more than
£10.

if such child be know unknown to such purchaser
nor although known, unless the name and abode of
such child be forthwith registered by such purchaser
in manner hereinafter mentioned.
