Penalties for obstructing
the execution of this Act, by keeping
back evidence
or otherwise - with
or & without force -

And be it further enacted that if any
person, being duly required by summons dulyrequired by summons
or warrant

or <add>warrant, to be examined for <add>to give
If any person, being summoned to give evidence
evidence on any information <add>or other proceeding grounded in this Act, shall without
on any such information shall refuse or omitt
reasonable <add>cause or excuse refuse or omitt fail
to obey such summons or warrant, or as shall refuse to be
examined or wilfully forbear to make just answer
to any such lawful question as shall thereupon lawfully
be demanded of him or her, or if any person shall
procure to or persuade be concerned in <add>causing or inducing or endeavouring to cause or induce persuade
any person so summoned or convened to make default
in any such manner as aforesaid, or shall persuade in inducing
or endeavouring to induce persuade any person to
keep out of the
way to avoid being so summoned or convened,
or in keeping or
endeavouring to keep
any person out of the
way to prevent him or
her so from being so
or if he or any other
summoned or convened
or in any other
manner, without
force or violence, in
shall obstruct wilfully
preventing frustr or obstructing
or wilfully endeavouring to frustrat
prevent or obstruct
the due execution
of this Act, then
and in every such case
every person so offending
and being convicted
thereof before any
one Justice or Justices of the
Peace shall forfeit and
in the discretion of such
to any amount not

with such other sum

then and in such any every case any and every person so offending
and being convicted thereof as aforesaid shall forfeit to any amount
