(10) § 43 § 41.
Abstract of the Laws
&c to be printed
on the face of the
Licence

And to the end that among the persons if
several classes of among the persons hereby required to take
out licences under so to be licenced and regulated as aforesaid
no one may offend through ignorance or pretended
ignorance of the Law Be it enacted that
at the first time of each any person's taking out a
licence or entering into a recognizance either as
Principal or Surety, under and by virtue of this
Act and oftener, if
need be
the said Commissioners <add>from time to time shall deliver (for a reasonable
price by them to be fixed)
by them the said
Commissioners) or deliver or cause
or cause to
Act, there shall be delivered to every such principal person
as also to every such Surety a blank copy sheet of printed paper <add>printed on one side only & containing a
paper containing on the same side thereof, a copy
duplicate or attested copy either of such licence or of such recognizance together of such licence, together
with an Abstract of all such Parliamentary
and other regulations as then in force as shall relate to
the particular occupation in respect of which
such principal licence shall shall have been taken out: observing in and
by every such Abstract
to exhibit furnish
to each p class of
persons regulate
under the regulations in
which he is concerned
unencumbered as
far as conveniently
may be with such by any
other regulations in which he
is not concerned: and
his or her
licence: and it shall the said Commissioners may
moreover appoin order or require and order
that such copy as aforesaid shall be kept constantly
exhibited to hung up and exhibited to
over behind the Shop Door or Doors or in some other conspicuous
place or places situation or situations in the Shop, Warehouse
or other place of trade or occupation of the person so licence
receiving the same, in such manner that
the same shall be and continue in the view
of all persons having dealings with the such
licenced person in the way or sale or otherwise:
and the said Commissioners are also hereby authorized
and required from time to time to take all such other further reasonable and
convenient means if any as shall be reasonable for conveying to the notice knowledge of all
such parties as aforesaid licenced sufficient notice of and information relative
to
to all such laws and
regulations in which
they are or shall be
respectively concerned.
