said regulations is declared to be extended to the
officers of the Customs. Be it enacted that ...
every Claim and regulation in the said
first that contained and concerning
any Actions Action to be brought against any
Officer of the Excise, or any person acting by his
order or in his aid, [2] [100] for any thing done in the
execution or by reason of his office shall be extended+
to every Action which shall all actions br be brought against any
+mutatis mutandis,
Commissioner, Surveyor or other Officer of or subordinate to
officers of the said Board of Police
or against any person acting by his order, or
in his aid, for any thing done in the execution
of or by reason of his Office in as
full and ample manner as if the such Officers
of the said Board of Police had throughout been
all along named, along with the said officers of Excise, and included in the said Act.
