§ 46. (2)

Additional duties for Police Gazette

not exceeding [2s:6d]: and to the duties payable on
each Excise licence for retailing distilled Spirituous liquors or
strong waters, any sum not exceeding [2s:6d] and
to the duties payable on each Excise licence for retailing
Foreign Wines, any sum not exceeding [2s:6d]:
and all provisions made or which have been or any provision contained
shall be made in any in all laws and by every law made or
to be made in relation to any licences duties payable
in respect of any of the exciseable liquors aforesaid
shall be in force, (so far as the same are respectively applicable) in relation to every such additional
duty as+shall be added to such respective duties
respectively as under and by virtue of this Act: Provided
always that a separate account the produce of such additional duties
make always that a separate account shall be kept by the said
Commissioners of Excise of the produce of all such additional
duties so imposed as shall have been
so imposed: and such produce shall either be
carried either to and made part of the Fund called the
Consolidated Fund, or to the said Police Fund, as
the Lord High Treasurer or Commissioners of the
Treasury shall from time to time think fit.
