Ministers of Congregations.
- Post Masters - and
Town Magistrates shall
publish any such Notices
as transmitted to them from
the Board - Penalties
for neglect - and for
defacing &c Notices when
stuck up
and it shall be lawful to and for the said Commissioners
and for any person or persons by their
authority to send to any Mi resident Minister
Church warden Chapel warden or Parish Clerk
of any Parish or Parishes, Place or Places
And be it further enacted, that
and for the circulating of any intelligence constituting forming
the sa any number or numbers of the said Police Gazette, or of
any intelligence proper to be inserted in the same
as proper to form the matter of the said Police
Gazette in any particular Parish or Parishes,
place or places, in which the
circulation of such intelligence shall appear to
present afford any special probability or prospect of contributing
to bring any offender to justice, it shall be lawful
for the said Commissioners, and for any person or
persons acting by their authority from time to time to tran cause to
be transmitted to any resident Ministers, Church-
wardens, Chapel-wardens or Parish Clerks of any
such Parish or Parishes, Place or Places respectively as well as throughout that
part of Great Britain
called England as throughout
that part of Great Britain
called Scotland
a Paper or Papers containing a copy
or any requisite number of Copies Extracts or Abstracts of or from of the said Police
Gazette or of any Extract or Extracts therefrom or Abstract or any number or numbers of the said Police Gazette
Abstracts thereof, with proper and reasonable Instructions for the
fixing the same or causing the same to be fixed upon a principal
door or some other conspicuous part or parts
of the Church or Chapel of each such Parish or Place:
and if any person who by whom as also to any
any resident Mayor, Bailiff, Alder Alderman, Minister,
Rabbi, Ministers, Priests, Rabbis, or other persons having a concerned
share in the management of any the officers of any Chapels, Synagogues, Meetings or other places of religious
worship respectively,
belonging to Congregations
of persons dissenting
from the Churches of
England and Scotland
respectively
or to be with instructions for fixing
such papers in like manner upon such places,
as also to the Postmasters of any Post Towns; as also
to the any resident Mayors, Bailiffs, Aldermen, chief Burgesses Town Clerks or any
Recorders, Town Clerks, or other Magistrates or persons
other persons having a principal <add>concern post in the management
concerned in the management
