Delinquency

§. 51.
Names of delinquents
not to be divulged
except as excepted.

1) Provided always nevertheless <add>always and be it further enacted</add> that it shall not be lawful
for the said Commissioners to cause or wilfully suppose to be
made public in and by the said Calendar of delinquency,
or by any other ways and means, the names of any
person as convicted of, p under prosecution for,
or suspected of, any offence under the rank of
Felony except in case of con persons convicted
of Forgery Perjury or Conspiracy unless in case of such and persons absconding
from justice by reason of any offence and for the official purpose of sending causing
him or her to be amenable Miscreants; without unless by a special
Order of the Board made in relation to each such
person taken singly, or unless a special order for such publication shall
have formed part of or has been added to the judgment
or Order by which such person shall have been convicted:
and the said Commissioners are hereby authorized
and required to take such measures course for the purpose
of preventing the such divulgation as is hereby
prohibited, as in their judgments shall serve merit
most proper need most effective and best adapted effected best adapted to the said purpose.
