May it please your Majesty that it be
enacted, and Be it enacted by the King's
most excellent Majesty, by and with the advice
and Consent of the Lords Spiritual & Temporal,
and Commons in this present Parliament assembled,
and by authority of the same, That it
shall and may be lawful for his Majesty in addition to
the seven Publick
Offices commonly
called or known by
the name of Police
Offices and which
have been established
by his Majesty in
virtue of an Act the Statute
in that behalf made
made and passed in
of the thirty second
Year of his Majesty
reign in that behalf
made and enacted
to
cause one other Publick Office to be established at or
near the to be called the Marine Police Wapping office, and at the said and at the
Marine Police so such Publick Office to appoint those fit and
able persons, being Justices of the Peace for the
Counties of Middlesex, Surrey, Kent, and Essex, and as also
for the City and Liberty of Westminster and for
the Liberty of the Town of London, or any two of them to execute sit and
the office of act at the said Marine Police Office Justices of the Peace for the special
purpose of superintending the Police of the said River between London
Bridge and the Hope
Point, there and the
vicinity thereof
River Port of London, in manner herein after mentioned together with such other Justices
of the Peace for the said Counties and City and
Liberties respectively "as may think proper to attend." 32. G. 3. c
