effect;effect, and that without calling in the aid of Parliament be not so simple are expedient as that and consequently without exposing the system to any opposition on this ground on the part part of the City authorities in Parliament: an expedient so simple
of putting the Commissioners into the Commission of the Peace for
the several Counties in which into which the proposed
LOndon Police District extends. Put In this way,
it is true, the portion of territory left out of the
Jurisdiction of the Board would comparatively be
in considerable: but the portion of the population left out
would be about one half: and that half the
portion that affords the greatest demand for the
sort of controul the ab application of which is
to form exercise of the powers proposed to be created
by the Act.
