In looking out for materials for the Calendar
of Delinquency, the object has been to find out
the several he several occasions on which written and cdocumentssorts of written and consequently
lasting documents which permanent instruments, which in the existing state of things come to be framed and issued
in the coursein the several lines of penal procedure, considered and in the several
branches- the several occasions on which they respectively came to be issued - and the several sorts of
persons into whose hands such documents
they must have found their way: since whatever
species of instrument mustalready [+] already have already been [+] for the justification ond security of any persons concerned, already
brought into existence, especially if for the same
reason it must have already have been prosecuted, the transmission
of a Copy or Abstract of such instrument
is an operation that in comparison of the framing
of a new instrument for the purpose, may
be performed with little difficulty or trouble:-
with much less than the framing of any new instrument.

In the regular branch of Procedure, such documents
exist already in more than sufficient variety and
abundance. In the summary branch of penal procedure theymay
may be in comprised mostly of altogether
under the three heading viz: Summonses Information, Index-
and Warrants. connection of Commision <add> and </add> In the case of all Summonses, and in allWarrants,
there are never less than two sorts of always two persons in office concerned:, In the case of any Information, i:e: a memorandum made of an information received concerning an offence therein stated to have been committed - a Conviction i:e: a memorandum
viz: the Justice and the Constable: in
Warrants of commitment discharge there are
also two such persons concerned, viz: the Justice
and the Jailor: and in Warrants of Commitment
there are almost always three, viz: the
Justice, the Constable, and the Jailor. Lingof
