being no reason why
any one such copy
should wait for any
other, there will be
no but distance
from the Post House
to prevent their being
each of them sent off
by the very next post.

The natural course of the business seems
to be (though not being necessary it would not
be proper to load encumber the Bill with the mention of it) seems to be
that the Justice when he delivers a Warrant
to the Constable should at the same time deliver
to him a duplicate for him to return to the
Police Surveyor Board as above provided: and by
using printed Forms on Papers of the same size,
with instructions for keeping them together till transmitted,
by a file, or a needle
and thread, or some
such simple implement
the business of transmitting them by the Constable to
the Police Board Surveyor may be conducted with great
simplicity and and regularity, and with very
little trouble. The local Police Commissioner
will have instructions from the Board to keep
a watch over the Police Surveyors his subordinates
that they in case of need may remind the Constables
in their respective Districts: and that
he may himself perform the same office with
reference to his neighbours and Colleagues, the
other Justices of his District.
