by the Justices of the Division - 1 - For the purpose
of being re-executed from time to time according to as
proposed according to proposed in §. 6. if that provision
should be approved of: 2 — that it may be forthcoming in case of delinquency,
as a da to help form the ground in point of evidence for
the proceedings in such case. It will be of use
that another copy should be in the hands of the
Board or their local officer — 1. To guard against
accidents that might happen to the other copy,
considering that neither the Justices of a licencing
Division are so permanent a body as the Justices
in Sessions, nor their Clerk so permanent a character
as the Clerk of the Peace. 2. That To compleat the collection

Under the Alehouse-licencing Laws, for want
of such Central authority as that of the Board, the
Recognizances are required to be transmitted to
the Co General Sessions Court of Quarter Sessions:
because, under those Acts, the proceedings, for on an
alledged forfeiture of the Recognizance are to be
in that court, and it is from thence that, in case
of conviction, the Recognizance is to be returned sent
to the Court of Exchequer to be estreated: a mode
of proceeding to which another less puros and expensive
is proposed to be substituted in the present
Bill, as will be seen under the head of Procedure.
It being necessary, for the reasons already given, that the
Recognizances here in question should be free from Stamp
duty

be attended with any
additional expense
