Robert Costa
Dear Transcribe Bentham User,
As part of our effort to continue to improve the website, transcription process and transcription tool, and to find out a little more about our users and their opinions of Transcribe Bentham and crowdsourcing, we are carrying out a brief survey.
If you could spare a few moments of your time to provide your opinions we would be extremely grateful. Depending on your answers, the survey has between 20 and 40 questions. They are a mixture of multiple choice answers and comment boxes, the latter of which are entirely optional, and the survey should take no longer than 10-15 minutes to complete. All responses are completely anonymised, and are protected under Data Protection legislation.
We are just as interested in hearing the opinions of those who have not transcribed anything or just a little and those who are interested in crowdsourcing in general, just as much as we are of regular transcribers. All information provided is extremely valuable, and will go some way to improving the site.
The survey can be accessed here: https://opinio.ucl.ac.uk/s?s=12776
Thank you for your time and your interest in Transcribe Bentham. Please do contact us if you have any queries at Transcribe.Bentham@ucl.ac.uk.
With best wishes,

Costar, your edit of folio JB/096/32/002 didn't show on the folio page when I opened it to edit, but I noticed that you had indeed tried to edit on 6th November. You had in fact typed beneath the line which states <!DO NOT EDIT BENEATH THIS LINE --> and you had also not enclosed your saved work in paragraph tags. Go back to the page and click the history link to view the difference. The Transcription Guidelines will help you if you get stuck. Best, Diane
